Ross Engineering Corporation develops and manufactures a family of electrostatic discharge (ESD) testers. According to MIL-I-23659C section 4.4.3.2 electrostatic discharge test, this model is designed for explosion-proof test. It combines high-voltage electromagnetic or barometric operating relays with safety grounding, charging and tipping capacitors into the appropriate equipment under test. The ESD tester is a portable system that uses 120V AC power. It is a highly reliable device capable of performing thousands of cycles.
